3 of 3 A Shawl Study

$5.00

This beautifully crafted shawl is available in just one size, expertly designed for versatility and comfort. Unlike shawls 1 and 2 in the series, this shawl is slightly smaller due to the use of a size 2 knitting needle, making it an ideal accessory for both warm weather and chilly days. During the summer months and arthritis flare-ups, I personally love wearing this compact shawl draped over my shoulders for just the right amount of cozy support. In the winter, I strategically position the deep part of the shawl in front, creating an additional layer of warmth beneath my jacket for those extra cold days.

It's worth noting that I began this shawl project before the beloved owners of Bijou Basin Ranch retired, which adds a special touch to its story. After a brief hiatus of a little over a month, I completed it with great satisfaction. I'm rating this pattern as medium difficulty because the yarn tends to be slightly slippery. This characteristic can occasionally lead to dropped stitches, which may prove challenging to pick up. However, this unique yarn also contributes to the shawl's elegant drape and luxurious feel, making the effort worthwhile. Perfect for knitters looking to challenge their skills while creating a stunning accessory, this shawl can be a treasured addition to your wardrobe.
