A Certain Darkness… is the perfect companion to my previous creation, the Sunlight Shawl for Sad People, with each shawl representing its own distinctive qualities within the same family of styles. This shawl features a different type of triangle, allowing knitters to explore variations while maintaining the thematic essence of light and dark.

The inspiration for this shawl emerged while I was delving into the realm of triangle shawls that are expertly crafted sideways and on the bias. I aimed to create a straightforward yet elegant piece, one that would combine simplicity with texture. The construction predominantly utilizes stockinette stitch, enhanced by lovely texture-rich garter ridges. To add a delightful finishing touch, I’ve incorporated a charming picot cast-off, elevating the shawl's aesthetic appeal.
