Techniques Used: This pattern incorporates a variety of knitting techniques, including knit and purl stitches, M1L and M1R increases, k2tog and p2tog decreases, SSK, wrapping stitches, knitting with wraps, seaming, and felting (detailed instructions are provided in the pattern!). You will also master picking up stitches and working in a round. This project is perfect for intermediate knitters who want to expand their skill set while creating something functional and fashionable.
Yarn Requirements: For this project, we recommend using worsted weight feltable wool to achieve the best results. The sample was knit using Knit Picks Wool of the Andes. Here's the breakdown:
- C1 (clog top): 90 (100, 100, 150, 200) yards

- Worsted weight superwash wool (sock): 90 (110, 120, 180, 200) yards
Gauge: To ensure the perfect fit, use the following gauge guidelines: For the clog, use US 10.5 needles (held double) to achieve 4 stitches & 5 rows = 1” in stockinette stitch. For the sock, a US 6 needle will give you 6 stitches & 7 rows = 1” in stockinette stitch.
Needles Needed: For this knitting project, you'll need US 10.5 circular needles (40” or longer) or US 10.5 double-pointed needles (8”). Additionally, you will require US 6 double-pointed needles (8”) for the sock section.
