Festive Feet Knitting Pattern
Join the fun and creativity in the Coop Knits group as you create your very own Festive Feet socks! This delightful knitting pattern is perfect for both beginners and experienced knitters looking for a festive project to showcase their skills.
YARN REQUIREMENTS
For this project, we recommend using Schoeller + Stahl Fortissima 100 Socka yarn, which consists of 75% wool and 25% polyamide. Each 100g ball provides approximately 420m [460yds] of beautiful yarn, making it perfect for sock knitting.
Color Options:
- C1: 2055 Grey Heather – 1 x 100g ball
- C2: 2001 Off White – 1 x 100g ball
Please note that approximately 210m [230yds] of each of the two colors is required for this pattern.
Alternative Yarn:
You can also choose to use CoopKnit's Socks Yeah yarn:
- C1: Malachite – 1 x 50g skein
- C2: Danburite – 1 x 50g skein
Note: If you prefer to create two identical socks instead of fraternal ones, you will need additional yarn.
NEEDLES AND TOOLS
- 2.5mm [UK 13-12/US 1-2] 80cm [32in] circular needles or double-pointed needles (DPNs), or size needed to achieve the correct gauge.
- Don't forget to have stitch markers and a tapestry needle on hand!
GAUGE
To ensure the best fit and appearance, aim for a gauge of 36 stitches and 50 rows = 10cm [4in] over stockinette stitch.
SIZE OPTIONS
- Small (Large)
- Designed to fit foot circumferences of 20.5 cm (8 in) or 25.5 cm (10 in).
- The foot length is fully adjustable within the pattern, and the finished sock will measure 0.5cm [¼in] less than the actual foot length, ensuring a snug and comfortable fit.
