Alpine Meadows
Transform your knitting experience with this delightful pattern that features vibrant coloured bobbles, meticulously crafted to resemble big dabs of thick paint. Create a charming crown of flowers around your head, perfect for brightening up any outfit or occasion! This unique knitting pattern incorporates a slightly modified bobble technique, ensuring a seamless transition between the bobble colors and the background. Just like in other forms of colorwork, when a bobble color isn’t in use, it is stranded thoughtfully, resulting in a professional and polished finish.
The sample hats showcase different color palettes using Quince and Co. Lark yarn. The blue hat features the following colorway: MC = ‘River’ (107); CC1 = ‘Rosa Rugosa’ (134); CC2 = ‘Honey’ (123). The black hat showcases a contrasting and chic design with: MC = ‘Crow’ (102); CC1 = ‘Egret’ (101); CC2 = ‘Rosa Rugosa’ (134). These two options allow you to choose a look that best suits your style!
Important Note: For the Adult size, I used just a few metres/yards more than one skein of Lark for the main color (MC). However, if you want to save on yarn, making the hat slightly shorter may allow you to complete it with just one skein.
