Introducing the Amortentia Socks, a charming knitting pattern inspired by my favorite film from the Harry Potter series, Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. Named after the most powerful love potion in the wizarding world, Amortentia captivates its drinker and creates an irresistible infatuation with the one who offers it. With this romantic sock design, I aimed for elegance, featuring intricate lacework and delicate details perfect for adding a touch of magic to your wardrobe.

This detailed knitting pattern includes both a chart and comprehensive written instructions for the exquisite lace design, ensuring knitters of all skill levels can create these enchanting socks with ease.

Sizes Available: Adult Small (Medium, Large). These socks fit approximately Women’s Small (Women’s Medium, Women’s Large) feet or have a foot circumference of 7 (8½, 9) inches (17.5 (21, 22.5) cm), making them perfect for gifting or personal wear.

Needles Required: 2.75 mm/US 2 or adjust as necessary to achieve the correct gauge. Please note that the sample sock was knitted using the magic loop technique, but feel free to use any preferred method to suit your knitting style.

Yarn Details: You will need 100g of sport weight yarn to complete this project. For the sample, I used Olann Gra sport weight yarn (328 yards per 100g) in the beautiful Elderberry colorway, which truly enhances the romantic theme of these socks.

Gauge Information: To ensure a perfect fit, the gauge (unblocked) is 26 stitches = 10 cm / 4 inches in stockinette stitch. Proper gauge is essential for achieving the desired size and texture, so be sure to check before starting your project.
