For instance, the cowl crafted in the example uses just 2 skeins for a cozy 21”/ 53.5cm circumference by 9.5”/ 24cm to 11”/ 28cm tall. The headband, shown in the sample, requires only 1 skein, measuring 21”/ 53.5cm circumference by 5”/ 13cm at the front and 6.5”/ 16.5cm at the back (with a comfortable 1”/ 2.5cm negative ease for a snug fit). For your convenience, the gauge is 14 stitches and 20 rows over a 4”/ 10cm area in Stockinette Stitch.
