Inspiration for this design comes from the breathtaking Mount Aspiring National Park. Exploring this stunning wilderness is an unforgettable experience, featuring striking landscapes that range from towering mountains to peaceful river flats. The park boasts braided river valleys, lush native beech forests, and vibrant alpine meadows, all leading to the majestic glaciated Southern Alps. At the heart of the park lies Mt Aspiring, which stands as the tallest peak at 3,033m. Known as "Tititea" in Maori, or "glistening peak," this region holds a special place in my heart and has inspired this beautiful knitting project. Join us and create your own piece of art inspired by nature!
