DK-Weight Version Yarn Requirements: You will need approximately 210 (415) yards of total DK-weight yarn, divided into two beautiful colors: 110 (215) yards of color A (pink) and 100 (200) yards of color B (purple). For my cowl, I used Knitted Wit Targhee Shimmer DK in Blush (color A) and Plump (color B). Needles: Use US 6 / 4mm needles for flat knitting, or select a size that achieves the required gauge. Gauge: 20 stitches = 4" / 10cm in stockinette stitch, measured after blocking to ensure the best fit.
Finished Measurements: The completed cowl measures 8.5" wide and 27 (54)" long, making it a versatile accessory that can be styled various ways.
Worsted-Weight Version Yarn Requirements: For the worsted-weight version, gather approximately 190 (385) yards of total yarn in two vibrant colors: 105 (200) yards of color A (green) and 85 (185) yards of color B (blue). I used Knitted Wit Targhee Shimmer Worsted in Shandanowhitz (color A) and Ja'Jae (color B). Needles: Choose US 7 / 4.5mm needles suitable for your knitting style.
