Australian Bandicoot - knitting pattern

Australian Bandicoot

$2.59

When I lived on a farm in beautiful Tasmania, these adorable creatures were a common sight under the night sky, bringing charm and warmth to the landscape. Drawing inspiration from my own photos, I’ve created a delightful knitting pattern for a soft toy that represents this cute and gentle icon of Australian wildlife. Luckily, the soft toy version of these animals is not endangered, making them a perfect choice for crafting!
Knit your very own stunning replica of this beloved creature and help kids appreciate the remarkable local fauna of Australia. The comprehensive instructions include detailed steps and vibrant pictures to guide you through the knitting process, ensuring you create a keepsake that you'll cherish and that children will adore.
To get started on this delightful project, you will need some 8 ply wool in various colors and a set of double-pointed needles (DPNs) in size 2.5mm or US2. Once completed, the finished toy will measure approximately 9cm (or 3.5 inches) in height and about 26cm (or 10 inches) in length, making it an ideal companion for babies and children of all ages!
