### Knitting Pattern: Shallow Triangle Shawl Discover the beauty of a top-down triangular shawl crafted with short rows and a charming garter tab cast on in our latest free knitting pattern. This exquisite shawl design is perfect for showcasing beautiful John Arbon yarns, famed for their premium quality and rich colors. #### Yarn Requirements For this stunning shawl, you will need the following yarns: - **Yarn H**: John Arbon Alpaca 2-3 ply yarn (100% alpaca). Each skein contains 100g/600m. For this project, I used 70g (420m) of Color: Natural White. - **Mini Skeins**: Utilize John Arbon Knit by Numbers 4 ply mini skeins (100% organically farmed merino) for a colorful finish. Here’s the breakdown: - **Color A – KBN94**: 25g (100m) - **Color B – KBN111**: 23g - **Color C – KBN76**: 13g - **Color D – KBN46**: 17g - **Color E – KBN88**: 21g - **Color F – KBN118**: 19g - **Color G – KBN12**: 19g For this particular design, I used a total of 7g of various mini skeins. #### Shawl Design Options This beautiful shawl can be created using colorful mini skeins or simply two contrasting colors to fit your personal style. Keep in mind that when using 4ply yarn for Color H, you may require more than one skein, especially if you prefer a bolder design. For my version, I selected a heavier lace weight yarn, which not only minimized the amount of yarn needed—less than one 100g skein—but also resulted in a delightfully light and airy shawl that drapes elegantly. Additionally, substituting Color H with a luxurious mohair can create an even more ethereal effect, making your shawl truly stand out. #### Perfect for All Skill Levels Whether you're an experienced knitter or just beginning your knitting journey, this shallow triangle shawl pattern offers a satisfying challenge while yielding breathtaking results. Embrace the art of knitting and enhance your collection with this stunning shawl that’s perfect for layering and versatile in any season.
