Materials Required:
For this baby cardigan, we recommend using Drops Merino Extra Fine yarn, made of 100% merino wool, weighing 50g with a length of 105 meters.
- For size 56/62 (0-4 months): You will need 3 skeins (150g)
- For size 62/68 (4-6 months): You will need 4 skeins (200g)
- For size 68/74 (6-9 months): You will need 4 skeins (200g)
- For size 74/80 (9-12 months): You will also need 4 skeins (200g)
Required Needles:
You will need double-pointed needles in size No. 3.5 mm for the ribbing and size No. 4.5 mm for knitting the main body of the cardigan.
Knitting Gauge: When using circular needles in size No. 4.5 mm, aim for a tension of 20 stitches and 29 rows = 10 x 10 cm in stocking stitch.
