Materials: Each pair is made using Garnstudio Drops Flora – a luxurious blend (50 g/1.8 oz, 210 m/230 yd, 65% wool/35% alpaca) that feels soft and gentle against your baby’s skin. Here’s the breakdown for each size: 0/6 months requires 15 g in Denim Blue (C1), 6/12 months needs 20 g in Coral (C2), 1/2 years uses 25 g in Beige (C3), 2/3 years calls for 30 g in Pistachio (C4), and finally, the 3/4 years size requires 35 g. The ideal knitting needles are 2.5 mm US 1, preferably an 80 cm (32”) circular needle or longer. Don’t hesitate to adjust your needle size to achieve the correct gauge. Essential tools include a stitch marker for marking the beginning of the round and a tapestry needle for weaving in ends.
The socks are designed to be knitted from the toe-up using the magic loop technique, which allows for uninterrupted knitting and beautiful results. While I personally used the short rows heel, you are free to employ any heel technique that suits your style.
