Badger Face mitts

This unique knitting pattern was created as part of my 12 Skeins of Christmas project, where I explored and highlighted the finest UK yarn and wool producers. Each pattern is specifically designed to showcase the beautiful wool sourced from these local farms. In crafting this pattern, I chose Torddu Badger Face sheep wool yarn DK, sourced directly from Three Pools, an innovative farm located in the picturesque landscapes of Wales. Three Pools is dedicated to permaculture and biodynamic farming practices, emphasizing the importance of returning nutrients to the soil through sustainable farming methods. As a result, this yarn is not only environmentally friendly but also incredibly sturdy and warm, making it perfect for cozy winter projects.

It’s important to note that this pattern includes an option for a thumb, allowing you to customize your garment to suit your style. If you prefer a fingerless design or want to keep it simple, you can easily choose to leave out the thumb element. Enjoy knitting this versatile pattern that combines both practicality and charm.
