Introducing the adorable Bagel Hat, inspired by Bagel, our beloved Taiwanese Mountain Dog who journeyed over 6,500 miles to join our family. Now living in sunny Southern California, Bagel has quite the personality – especially when it rains! Whenever the sky opens up, he gazes upwards with a look of sorrow, as if we're the culprits behind his soggy struggles. When we head outside, he often prefers the garage as a safe haven, clearly signaling, "Hey, folks, it rains out there; let's stay inside!"
On one particularly stormy day a few weeks ago, while I was designing this cozy hat, Bagel wouldn't leave my side, providing the perfect inspiration for this delightful knit. Once I completed the sample, I bravely donned the hat and ventured outdoors with him for a brief outing, allowing him to explore the rain while getting a little more comfortable with the elements. With every stitch of this hat, I poured my love and appreciation for our furry little companion who gives us endless love and joy.
