To create this charming cardigan, you'll need any bulky weight yarn in your chosen main color, approximately:

130g for small sizes
180g for medium sizes
220g for large sizes
260g for extra-large sizes
290g for even larger sizes
320g for the biggest sizes

This translates to roughly:

200 yards for small sizes
277 yards for medium sizes
338 yards for large sizes
400 yards for extra-large sizes
446 yards for even larger sizes
492 yards for the biggest sizes

For the sample, I used the wonderful Ophelia Italy Emma yarn, known for its soft texture and vibrant colors.

To get started on this knit cardigan pattern, gather the following materials:

Circular needles, US size 10 (6mm), or the size needed to achieve your desired gauge
5 double-point needles, US size 10 (6mm)
Two stitch holders to keep your stitches secure
Buttons: 3 for smaller sizes and up to 5 for larger sizes (approximately 20mm wide)
