You can also substitute with any sport weight yarn of your choice. For the main color (MC), we used 1038 Ivory Beige, which requires approximately 82 yards (75 meters) and 25 grams. The contrasting color (CC) is 1420 Marsh Heather, needing about 30 yards (27 meters) and 9 grams.
Needles: You will need a set of US 2.5 (3 mm) and US 3 (3.25 mm) double-pointed or circular needles, but feel free to use any needle sizes that help you achieve the correct gauge.
Gauge: Make sure to check your gauge — aim for 28 stitches and 31 rounds equal to 4 inches (10 cm) when working in circular colorwork on the larger needles (blocked) to ensure a perfect fit for your mitts.
