Yarn Requirements:

For this cable knit blanket, you will need Cascade Elysian yarn, composed of 60% Superwash Merino Wool and 40% Acrylic, offering both softness and durability. Each ball contains approximately 200 m/219 yds per 100 g. You will need:

• 5 (8, 19) balls, in Color: Gray 02
• Approximately 900 (1600, 3800) yds of light worsted weight yarn.

Needles:

To achieve the perfect gauge, you’ll need size 6 (4.0mm) circular knitting needles of the following lengths: 24” (32”, 40”)/61 cm (81.5 cm, 102 cm) or a size that meets your gauge specifications.

Notions:

In addition to your yarn and needles, you will need the following notions to complete your blanket:

• Stitch markers
• Tapestry needle
• Cable needle

Gauge:

To ensure your blanket turns out as intended, aim for a gauge of 32 stitches and 28 rows per 4”/10cm in the Cabled Pattern. Additionally, this translates to approximately 5 stitches per 4” in stockinette stitch.
