This yarn comes in skeins of 250 yards (229 meters) / 114 grams; we used Denim—only 1 skein is required for this design.

For the Beanie: This style requires slightly less yarn, at 180 (210) yards / 165 (192) meters of DK weight yarn. The sample beanie was created using Kelbourne Woolens Scout, a robust 100% Wool yarn. Each skein is 274 yards (251 meters) / 100 grams, and we used the beautiful 602 Mulberry Heather shade—just 1 skein will do for this design.

If you plan to mix and match styles, such as creating a slouchy hat with a folded-over brim, please note that you will need extra yarn to accommodate this combination.
