Betweenity Hat
Hang on to your hat. Hang on to your hope. And wind the clock, for tomorrow is another day. - E. B. White (2011). “In the Words of E.B. White: Quotations from America’s Most Companionable of Writers”, p.126, Cornell University Press
**Betweenity** Noun | bee - tween – i – tee | Eighteenth century. English. Being in the middle, or between two things.
Several years ago, I was lucky enough to receive a beautifully crafted pair of mittens as a gift from a dear friend who had taken a remarkable trip overseas. These mittens quickly became a beloved accessory of mine. Knit in a stunning blend of charcoal, red, and orange hues, they perfectly appeal to my sense of color and style. I often wear them with my striking orange wool coat, which I found on the sale rack at Nordstrom’s. (Because who doesn’t love a good sale?) Ever since I got those lovely mittens, I have dreamed of designing a matching hat and cowl set to complete the ensemble.
Drawing inspiration from the gorgeous mittens, I meticulously modified my own chart to create a slightly simpler yet beautiful design for this set. This cozy hat and cowl combination not only adds warmth but also showcases your knitting creativity and flair. The pattern is designed with measurements that allow for 1” of negative ease, ensuring a snug and comfortable fit.
This easy-to-follow knitting pattern will help you craft your own beautiful matching hat and cowl set in no time. Perfect for keeping you warm during chilly days or making a thoughtful handmade gift for someone special, this pattern is a must-have for any knitting enthusiast. Whether you're an experienced knitter or just starting your journey, this pattern will guide you every step of the way. Dive into the world of color, texture, and creativity with my delightful design!
