Yarn
This shawl requires two colors of Sport Weight Yarn. For our sample, we used The Happiest Yarn, which is made from 100% US Wool. This unique blend consists of 4 parts Shetland from Wing and a Prayer Farm, 1 part Romney from Doc Mason’s Wool, and 1 part Merino, all spun from Battenkill Fibers. You will need 150 yards and 2 oz; approximately 3 (4) hanks in Oatmeal (Color 1) and 3 (4) hanks in Natural (Color 2) for a stunning effect!
Needle/Hook
For this project, you will need a US6/4mm Circular needle with a minimum length of 32”/80cm. You may also use the size needed to obtain the specified gauge. A G Crochet Hook will be necessary for the cast-on.
