YARN REQUIREMENTS: This stunning cardigan requires a total of 1190 (1340, 1500, 1655)(1845, 1960, 2130) yards of DK weight wool or a wool blend. For the design showcased, we used Valley Yarns "Valley Superwash DK" in the beautiful shade of Blue Mist, requiring approximately 9 (10, 11, 12)(14, 15, 16) balls of yarn.

CONSTRUCTION DETAILS: The body of the cardigan is skillfully worked flat from the bottom up as one continuous piece until reaching the armholes, incorporating slight A-line shaping for added elegance. At the armholes, the piece is separated into the fronts and back. The shoulder seams are artistically shaped using short rows and joined with a 3-needle bind-off technique for a polished finish. The beautifully designed collar bands are knit alongside the fronts and later joined to the back neck tab, also employing the neat 3-needle bind-off method. The set-in sleeves are crafted flat, then seamed and expertly sewn into the armholes, completing this exquisite cardigan pattern.
