Birds of a Feather
Discover the Birds of a Feather Shawl Pattern – Perfect for Knitting Enthusiasts!
Design Shape
Introducing Birds of a Feather, the third captivating design in the beloved You & I Shawl Series. This unique shawl features a semi sideways asymmetrical shape, ideal for those seeking both style and versatility. With an impressive long wingspan and shallow depth, this design seamlessly blends the characteristics of a shawl and a scarf, making it an elegant accessory for any occasion.
Color Selection
In creating your own Birds of a Feather shawl, you will use nearly equal amounts of two contrasting colors: Color A and Color B. Color B serves as the background, while Color A embellishes it with delightful decorative accents. For the best visual impact, ensure there is a significant contrast between the two colors. You may opt for a single variegated yarn; however, it's crucial to ensure that your solid color does not appear in the multi-color skein.
For my project, I have chosen Peridot for Color A and Opal for Color B. A low contrast variegated yarn is acceptable for Color B, whereas if you prefer a more vibrant and multi-colored yarn, it's best to reserve it for Color A. This allows for a striking and dynamic design that truly stands out!
