Finished Measurements 5.5” high x 30” circumference. This lovely cowl offers both warmth and style, perfect for any chilly day.

Gauge 24 stitches x 18 rounds = 4” square in the stitch pattern, after blocking, ensuring that your knitting remains consistent and the final project has the right size.

Materials Needed: For the main color (MC), we recommend using Black Bunny Fibers CashMerino DK, consisting of 80% Merino, 10% Cashmere, and 10% Nylon; each skein contains 230 yards/100g. You will need 1 skein in the vibrant color Red Wagon. For the contrast color (CC), choose Black Bunny Fibers Merino Classic DK, which is made of 100% superwash Merino and provides 262 yards / 4 oz. You’ll need 1 skein in the rich shade Bark.

You will also need US#4/3.5mm circular needles for this project, along with a cable needle (optional), a large-eyed blunt needle, and a stitch marker to help keep your place while you knit.

Please note that this cowl uses approximately 50% of each skein, which means you could easily create two cowls from the materials listed!

Skills Required: This pattern is designed for those who are comfortable knitting in the round. You should also be able to follow charts or stitch pattern instructions, work simple cable techniques, and execute a two-color cast on.

Stitches Used: The pattern includes exciting stitch techniques, such as 2/1 RCp - which involves slipping two stitches to a cable needle held in back, then knitting two contrast color stitches followed by two main color stitches from the cable needle. You’ll also learn 2/1 LCp - where you hold the cable needle in front, knitting two main color stitches followed by two contrast color stitches. The pattern features 2/2 RC and 2/2 LC techniques as well, perfect for adding intricate designs to your cowl.

Create a stunning accessory that showcases your knitting skills and keeps you cozy all season long. Enjoy this captivating cowl pattern, perfect for both beginners looking to advance their skills and experienced knitters seeking a new delightful project!
