Blueridge Shawl
Introducing our stunning triangle-shaped shawl pattern that cleverly utilizes slipped stitches to effortlessly disrupt the pooling effect often seen with variegated yarns. This versatile design also shines with self-striping or even solid color yarns, making it a delightful addition to any knitter's collection. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced knitter, this shawl pattern provides a unique and enjoyable knitting experience.
The pattern is primarily written for fingering weight yarn, but its flexible design allows you to use any yarn weight and any size needles to create a shawl that suits your personal style and size preferences. For your convenience, we have included suggested gauges and needle sizes for both fingering and worsted weight yarns to help you get started on your knitting journey. You will need approximately 100-150 grams of fingering weight yarn or 300-350 grams of worsted weight yarn to create a full-sized shawl.
After blocking, my finished shawl measured an impressive 22” deep by 60” across, providing ample coverage and warmth. This beautiful design makes it an ideal accessory for any season, perfect for wrapping yourself in comfort or gifting to loved ones.
