FINISHED MEASUREMENTS
One size fits most: Approximately 32” around by 8” tall (81.25 cm by 20.5 cm), providing ample coverage and a cozy feel.
MATERIALS
Yarn: You'll need 230 yards (210 m) of DK weight yarn. For the sample, I used Knit Picks Gloss DK in the rich color Masala, using about 90 g or 220 yards.
Needles: US size 6 (4 mm) 24” circular needle, or the size required to achieve the specified gauge (please refer to the Pattern Note on page 3). For the ribbing section, I recommend using a US size 5 (3.75 mm) 24” circular needle.
Notions: Don't forget your stitch marker and tapestry needle for weaving in ends!
GAUGE
To ensure your cowl turns out beautifully, aim for a gauge of 21 stitches and 24 rounds = 4 inches in the pattern after blocking. Achieving this gauge is crucial for the fit and drape of the Blustery Cowl.
Whether you're looking to expand your knitting skills or create a cozy accessory for yourself, the Blustery Cowl is an excellent choice. Its elegant lace design and practicality make it a must-knit for the fall and winter seasons! Start your cozy knitting journey today!
