BONK!
If you love BONK!, you won't want to miss out on [Buster!][1]—your new favorite monster bestie!
This adorable knit pattern features a sample that stands approximately 6.5" tall and 6" wide when crafted using Worsted Weight yarn. Perfect for gifting or adding to your own collection of plush companions, these friendly monsters are sure to bring a smile to anyone's face!
Materials Needed:
- Main Color (MC) and Contrast Color (CC) of any weight yarn - You will need about 60 grams of MC and 5 grams of CC to create your own samples.
- US size 5 needles, though needle size may vary based on your yarn choice. It’s best to go down 1-2 sizes from the smallest needle size recommended on the yarn label for a tighter knit.
- This project can be knitted using Double Pointed Needles (DPNs), 2 circulars, or a 40” circular needle for the Magic Loop method (my preferred technique). Just be sure to distribute your stitches evenly for working in the round.
- A tapestry needle for weaving in ends.
- Optional stitch marker to indicate the beginning of your round.
- 15mm and 9mm safety eyes, available from seller 6060 on Etsy, for that perfect monster gaze.
- Embroidery floss or yarn scraps to create cute noses, mouths, and eyelids.
- Polyfill stuffing for plushness.
Techniques Used: This pattern will guide you through various knitting techniques including knit (k), purl (p), knit two together (ktog), slip slip knit (ssk), center double decrease (cdd), cast on (C/O), bind off (B/O), and Judy's Magic Cast-On—check out the [LINK][2] for a helpful tutorial.
