Finished Dimensions: Available in two sizes, our Book Stash Socks cater to different fits. The Small size boasts a foot circumference of approximately 7 inches (17.5 cm), while the Large size accommodates a foot circumference of about 8 inches (20 cm).
Suggested Yarn: For the best results, we recommend using sock weight yarn. You will need roughly 3 ounces (80 grams) or 360 yards (325 meters) of yarn for the Small size, and around 3.5 ounces (100 grams) or 462 yards (423 meters) for the Large size. For my sample, I opted for Shirsty Cat Designs Just Sock yarn in the vibrant Amazed colorway, adding a splash of joy to each stitch.
Needles: To achieve the required gauge, you will need a size 1 (2.25 mm) circular needle, or whatever size you prefer that helps you meet the gauge requirement. Alternatively, you can use double-pointed needles (dpns) by distributing the stitches evenly on two dpns for the instep side and two dpns for the sole side. Gauge: Our gauge for this pattern is 8 stitches and 12 rows per inch (2.5 cm) in stockinette stitch.
