**Yarn Requirements for the Muff Project:** This delightful muff pattern utilizes two types of yarn for a cozy finish. For the outer layer, you'll need 100% Wool Bouclé yarn, which comes in a skein of 59 yds (54 m) and weighs 3.5 oz (100 g). Additionally, for the lining, you will need a 100% Wool yarn with a total of 186 yds (180 m) in a weight of 3.5 oz (100 g). Perfect for keeping your hands warm, this muff is a true winter essential!

**Gauge Information:** Achieving the correct gauge is vital for this project. For the 100% Wool Bouclé yarn, ensure your gauge is 11 stitches and 20 rows = 10 cm in garter stitch. Meanwhile, for the 100% Wool yarn used in the lining, your gauge should be 16 stitches and 32 rows = 10 cm in garter stitch. Accurate gauge will guarantee a snug and stylish finish to your muff!

**Finished Measurements:** After soaking and drying, your finished muff will measure approximately 22 cm in height and 31 cm in width, making it an ideal accessory to slip your hands into when the temperatures drop. This lovely piece not only provides warmth but also adds a charming touch to your winter wardrobe.

**Yarn Usage:** For this project, I used a total of 164 g of the Bouclé yarn and 80 g of the wool yarn, allowing you to make this muff with minimal leftover yarn. This pattern is not only stylish but also efficient in yarn usage!

**Required Tools:** To create this cozy muff, you will need a pair of circular needles, specifically size 5 mm and 40 cm in length. Additionally, a marker is recommended for keeping track of your rows, and you'll require sewing thread and a needle to assemble the muff neatly. Having the right tools will ensure a smooth knitting experience.

**Note on Yarn:** Please be aware that I sourced the Bouclé yarn from my mom’s home, and it is older than I am, which means it is a "no name" product. While I measured the yarn carefully, I encourage you to find a similar Bouclé yarn available in the market today. If necessary, consider using a suitable Bouclé yarn in several strands to ensure you achieve the desired thickness and texture.

This knitting pattern is perfect for knitters of varying skill levels who are looking to create a beautiful, functional accessory. With clear instructions and detailed gauge information, you can craft your very own cozy muff and delight in the satisfaction of handmade winter wear!
