This project is not only enjoyable but also economical, making it an excellent option for gift-giving. With just one skein of Cascade 220 Heathers, you can create an amazing TWO pairs of gorgeous gloves, each measuring 9 inches long. That's right—two pairs out of one skein!
For each pair of 9-inch (22cm) gloves, which extend comfortably to mid-arm, you will need approximately 110 yards (50g / 100 meters) of worsted-weight wool yarn. Merino wool is highly recommended for its softness and warmth, but any soft wool blend, such as the beloved Cascade 220 Heathers, will yield fantastic results.
To get started, we suggest using a needle size of US 7 (4.5 mm). You can choose between circular needles or double-point needles based on your comfort level and knitting style.
Thank you for considering this delightful knitting project! We are confident that you will enjoy the process and love the finished product.
