Campfire Zip

$7.32

Introducing the Campfire Zip Sweater, a cozy and stylish knitting pattern inspired by my beloved fleece zip-up pullover from my camping adventures as a child. This versatile sweater features a zip-up neck and is expertly crafted using a top-down raglan style, allowing for a comfortable fit and easy customization. The design showcases trendy balloon sleeves, while the sleeves and bottom edge are finished with a classic 1x1 ribbed hem for added detail and structure.

The Campfire Zip Sweater is designed to fall at a mid to longer crop level, making it perfect for layering or wearing on its own. If you prefer a longer silhouette, the pattern allows for easy adjustments! You’ll also find options for waist shaping if desired, ensuring a fit that flatters all body types. This #sizeinclusive pattern accommodates a range of sizes, offering 5-8” of positive ease for maximum comfort.

Sizes offered include a variety of finished bust measurements: 30.1 (33.8, 37.6, 41.4) {45.2, 48.9, 52.7} (56.5, 60.2, 64) {67.8, 71.6, 75.3}. These sizes reflect the finished bust measurements, ensuring a suitable fit for everyone.

When selecting yarn for this project, you’ll want to choose any super bulky (6) weight yarn that meets the gauge requirements. For my version, I used Loops & Threads Rippling Wave yarn, which provides incredible warmth and texture at 103 yards per 200g ball.

Yardage requirements for the Campfire Zip Sweater are as follows: 320 (360, 400, 465) {515, 585, 630} (695, 755, 810) {885, 945, 1005}, ensuring you have just the right amount for your size choice.

For this project, you will need 10 mm needles for the body and 8 mm needles for the ribbing, making it a quick-knit option for those looking to make a statement piece in their wardrobe. Get ready to relish the comfort and warmth of the Campfire Zip Sweater, a perfect addition to your fall and winter knitting projects!
