Gauge: To ensure your top turns out just right, the gauge is 22 stitches and 27 rows measuring 4”/10 cm in the Cable/Lace pattern on a size US6 (4 mm) needle, after blocking. The pattern has a 19-stitch repetition that creates a beautiful Cable/Lace effect, measuring 3½”/9 cm after blocking.
Required Tools: For this project, you will need a size US3 (3.25 mm) straight needle and 24” (60 cm) circular needle (circ). Additionally, a size US6 (4 mm) 32”(80 cm) circular needle is required. Be sure to adjust your needle size if needed to achieve the correct gauge. You will also need 6 markers, a tapestry needle, a cable needle, and waste yarn for the project.
