Chevron Lace Prayer Shawl
This is a delightful rough sketch featuring a chart for a beautifully loose gauge, fluffy shawl designed specifically for those of us knitting for the Prayer Shawl Ministry of the Hospice of the Calumet (Indiana) Region, in collaboration with the wonderful team at Spinnin' Yarns. My sample began as a 45-stitch "original" pattern, but as I worked through the design, I found an opportunity to enhance it. I added two stitches to the original count and continued the pattern as outlined here. This adjustment allows for a more substantial and cozy shawl, perfect for wrapping up in during colder months or providing comfort to those who receive it.
