Chevy hat
**GIVEAWAY is over! Thank you to all who participated!
This reversible knitting pattern delivers both style and comfort, making it a perfect accessory for any season. Designed to fit comfortably without being too tight, this hat is easy to memorize, allowing for quick project completion—ideal for knitters who love working with sport weight yarn.
Materials Needed:
Yarn: 180 yards of sport-weight yarn. For this project, I used one skein of Cascade Yarns 220 Sport in a beautiful camel color.
Needles: You will need US 4 (3.5 mm) and US 5 (3.75 mm) double-pointed needles. Alternatively, a circular needle of at least 40 inches can also be used to accommodate the knitting technique.
You’ll also need a tapestry needle for weaving in your ends and finishing touches.
Gauge: Achieve a gauge of 12 stitches x 16 rounds to equal 2 inches in the chevron pattern, lightly stretched to create the best fit.
Finished Measurements: This lovely hat measures approximately 18 inches wide and 8 inches tall when laid relaxed (unblocked), making it the perfect versatile accessory for chilly days.
