This pattern was originally featured in Issue 35 of Knit Now. In response to popular demand, I have restructured the pattern, expanding the colorwork chart to facilitate the creation of a slouchier version of this stylish hat. Whether you prefer the original fit or the relaxed style, you will find clear guidance with both charted and written instructions—meaning every stitch is thoroughly outlined for ease of use.

Yarn Requirements: For the standard version, you'll need 93 (106, 120, 133) meters (101 (116, 131, 145) yards) of sport weight yarn for the main color (MC) and 62 (71, 80, 88) meters of contrast color (CC). For the slouchier design, prepare to use 110 (126, 141, 157) meters of MC and 73 (83, 94, 104) meters of CC. Additionally, for the pom-pom in all versions, allocate 115 meters of yarn.
