Choo Choo Train baby blanket

For this project, I selected Berroco’s renowned Pima Soft yarn, known for its incredible softness and durability. This yarn not only feels luxurious against a baby's skin but also washes beautifully and maintains its quality over time. However, it’s worth noting that after machine washing and drying, I observed a slight change in the blanket's dimensions. Originally measuring 29”x33” post-knitting, the blanket shrunk to approximately 31”x31”. Since it's meant to be a cozy blanket, I’m not overly concerned about the size adjustments.
The pattern requires 7 skeins of Berroco Pima Soft yarn, and I meticulously tracked the yarn usage for each section. By keeping a close eye on the length of yarn consumed from the first skein, I was able to effectively plan how much yarn to utilize for the final skein. The top third of the blanket consists of all stockinette stitch, allowing for flexibility in yarn usage based on your preferences, whether you want to customize the length or width.
