YARN: This shawl is designed for dk to worsted weight yarn, making it perfect for a variety of fiber options. The pattern can easily be modified for other yarn weights or different yardages, ensuring that you can make it work for whatever supplies you have available. For the sample, we used Knitting for Olive Heavy Merino (worsted weight, 100% Merino, 50 g = 125 m / 137 yds). A total of 5 balls were used, equating to 250 g or 625 m / 685 yds, in the lovely color Powder.
