Needle Size: You will need 3.5 mm/US 4 and 4 mm/US 6 circular needles for the magic loop technique (60 cm) or double-pointed needles (DPNs). Alternatively, you can use any needle size that allows you to obtain the required gauge for this project.

Yarn: For this pattern, we recommend using Woolstock, a worsted weight yarn made from 100% fine Highland wool. Each skein weighs 50 g and offers a generous yardage of 112 m/123 yds. Here are the suggested shades for each size: Toddler size features (MC) Drift Wood and (CC) Cranberry Compote, with one skein of each. The Adult Small size 1 combines (MC) Cast Iron and (CC) Golden Meadow, also needing one skein of each. For the Adult Small size 2, use (MC) Drift Wood and (CC) Golden Meadow, requiring one skein of each color as well.
