Coloured Pencils and Paper
These delightful socks are inspired by my wonderful Mother-in-Law, a retired school teacher whose passion for education has touched many lives. To celebrate her spirit, I created these whimsical knitted socks for the entire family. As a fun addition, I also designed charming coloured pencils to accompany the socks. I hope you enjoy knitting these vibrant, multi-coloured socks as much as I enjoyed crafting them!
These socks feature a toe-up design for maximum comfort and flexibility, along with a German Short Row Heel technique that provides a perfect fit. The pattern includes instructions for three different sizes to cater to everyone in the family: Adult S, M, L corresponding to EU sizes 36-39, 40-43, and 44-47; and US sizes Ladies 5-8, 9-11, 12-13, and Men 4-6, 7-9, 10-13. You'll love how these socks fit and feel!
In terms of yarn requirements, each sock (excluding the paper) uses approximately 5 grams of yarn each for the wood, aluminum, and eraser components. The pencil design features 5 grams of black yarn for the lead, while the coloured pencils require a unique body color for the cast on. For the Paper Sock, you'll need 40 grams of white yarn, 10 grams of blue for the margins, and 3 grams of pink for added detail.
