Connections Beanie

Introducing the Braided Rib Beanie, the second piece in my exclusive collection alongside the Solace Gloves and Beanie. This design was inspired by my experiences during the early days of the 2020 pandemic lockdown here in the UK. At that time, I felt particularly vulnerable, grappling with fears of illness due to ongoing health issues and the uncertainty of not being able to connect with friends and family on the Scottish Mainland. However, a silver lining emerged as I recognized that the connections I had forged in Shetland were just as strong as my long-standing relationships elsewhere. Some of these ties were revived upon our return to this beautiful island, while others blossomed afresh. Although we hadn’t been back in Shetland for long, the incredible support and camaraderie from these new connections were invaluable in navigating the challenges of that period.

The Braided Rib Beanie is expertly knitted entirely in the round, featuring a striking yet simple braided rib pattern.
