Cordate - knitting pattern

Cordate

$5.00

The sister pattern to the beloved Ovate, the Cordate scarf is an exciting and quick project designed for super bulky yarns. This stunning accessory features large, leaf-inspired motifs and graceful eyelets that meander across the fabric, making it the perfect cozy wrap for chilly days. There's truly nothing quite like a lovely, lacy scarf that you can knit up in a flash!

Cordate is ingeniously crafted from the center out, starting with a provisional cast on that gives you a seamless finish. Both written instructions and charted patterns are provided, ensuring that knitters of all experience levels can confidently tackle this project. While fringe is optional, it adds a fabulous touch, and you’ll be delighted to know that a video tutorial for adding fringe is included to guide you through the process.

Gauge
Gauge is not critical for this project; however, if your gauge differs from the specified measurement, you might need an additional skein of yarn. As a reference, 17 stitches equals 9 inches (23 cm) in the pattern stitch.

Additional Materials
To complete the Cordate scarf, you will need a Size P/11.5mm crochet hook for the provisional cast on and for securing any fringe, which is optional but adds a lovely detailed finish. You will also require waste yarn (bulky or super bulky weight) and a yarn needle to weave in ends.

Skill Level
This pattern is classified as Easy, making it accessible for both beginner and experienced knitters alike, perfect for those looking to enhance their skills while creating a beautiful accessory.
