The exquisite colors of this yarn took me back to a time filled with the vibrant spirit of Janis Joplin and her iconic Kozmic Blues. Instead of a tranquil night sky, this delightful accessory is designed to keep you cozy on cool, starry evenings, making it a perfect companion for outdoor gatherings or quiet nights under the stars.

For this top-down triangular shawl, I used just 1 - 100g skein of Araucania Botany Lace, which offers a delightful knitting experience. The light, airy texture of this yarn is simply wonderful to work with, and I’m thrilled that I’ve selected a few other striking colorways for my upcoming projects. Each colorway brings a unique twist to the shawl’s design, ensuring that every piece feels personal and special.

The shawl features a charming bottom section knitted in rows of garter stitch, enhanced by a nearly invisible type of increase along the center spine, adding both interest and elegance to the piece. This pattern is perfect for those with a moderate amount of lace knitting experience, allowing you to challenge yourself while creating a beautiful accessory.
