Curious Collective Shawl
Experience the magic of global creativity with this stunning shawl, born from the collaborative decisions of over 2,000 knitters hailing from 55 countries around the world. This unique "create your own adventure" shawl design project was brought to life through an engaging series of votes on the Curious Handmade blog, allowing participants to share their visions and influence the final outcome.
The beautifully designed crescent shape, chosen by popular vote, is expertly crafted using several increase rows, ensuring it sits gracefully on your shoulders. Its elegant silhouette highlights a variety of textured stitch patterns, all inspired by the vibrant beauty of a spring meadow. For knitting enthusiasts, this shawl is a delightful blend of creativity and artistry, showcasing two lovely colours of sock weight yarn. The winning shades of purple, selected by voters, perfectly reflect the enchanting wildflower theme, making this shawl not just a project but a wearable piece of art.

A Note About Yarn Requirements:
For this shawl, I used approximately 82g of Raisin (the darker purple) and 60g of Heather Shadow. Since the Juno Alice yarn is 437 yards per 100g, you can expect the yarn requirements to be about 360 yards of Raisin along with an additional 240 yards of Heather Shadow. Gather your materials and embark on this delightful knitting journey that showcases not only your talent but also connects you with a passionate community of knitters around the globe.
