Yarn Requirements:

Gradient Version: For the 5-color gradient shawl, we recommend using Handmaineknits Twist Sock yarn, which boasts 400 yards (366 meters) per 100 grams, crafted from 80% superwash merino and 20% nylon. You will need 2 skeins in Charcoal for the main color (MC) and a gradient set—including colors CC1 to CC5—or five mini skeins, approximately 80 yards (73 meters) each, totaling 100 grams (20 grams each).

2-Color Version: If you opt for the 2-color version, consider using Marianated Yarns Scrumptious HT yarn, which offers 400 yards (366 meters) per 100 grams, composed of 80% superwash merino, 10% cashmere, and 10% nylon. For this version, you’ll need 2 skeins in the rich shade of Marianberry for the main color (MC) and 1 skein in the soft hue of Morning Mist for the contrasting color (CC).

Gauge Information: To ensure your shawl turns out perfectly, aim for a gauge of 22 stitches and 48 rows per 4 inches (10 cm) in blocked Garter stitch, and 20 stitches and 58 rows per 4 inches (10 cm) in the delightful brioche pattern.

No matter which version you choose, the Cyclone Shawl will become a versatile addition to your wardrobe, perfect for layering or as a statement piece. Grab your favorite yarn and get ready to embark on a knitting journey with this fabulous Cyclone Shawl pattern!
