Pattern Information:
Size: The finished size (after blocking) of this exquisite shawl measures approximately 83“/210cm in width and 36“/91cm in height. This size is adjustable, allowing you to customize the shawl to your preference; however, please note that any alterations will affect both the final dimensions and the amount of yarn required.
Gauge: Achieve a perfect gauge with 16 stitches and 22 rows equaling 10cm/4” in the Wheatear lace pattern when using a US8/5mm needle. This measurement is taken flat after blocking to ensure accuracy.
Yarn Recommendations: To create this shawl, you will need either 6 skeins of MYak 100% baby yak medium yarn in the Lazy Day colorway, with each skein weighing 50g and providing approximately 125 yards (117m) of luxurious yarn, or 4 skeins of Malabrigo Rios yarn. The Malabrigo yarn is a gorgeous worsted weight option, made from 100% pure merino superwash wool in the vibrant Frank Ochre 035 colorway, offering 100g and around 210 yards (192m) per skein.
This worsted weight lace shawl is not just a project; it's a beautiful accessory you can wear or gift.
