YARN REQUIREMENTS
Fingering weight yarn is recommended for this project. Here’s what you will need:
1.) Color A (CA): 705 yards {644 meters}
2.) Color B (CB): 370 yards {338 meters}
Sample uses: Pichinku Tawa base (70% merino/30% mulberry silk, 436 yards {400 meters}/100g) in the gorgeous colorways Petal (CA) and Natural (CB). Additionally, I have included various suggestions for alternative yarns within the pattern to inspire your creativity!
NEEDLES
For this project, I recommend using US size 6 {4.0 mm} needles. Ensure you have at least 24” {60 cm} circular needles to accommodate all the stitches comfortably. Feel free to adjust to the size needed to match your personal gauge.
GAUGE
*Remember this pattern is worked flat and will block beautifully.*
Garter Stitch: 20 stitches / 29 rows = 4” {10 cm}
Cats Eye Net Lace Stitch: 24 stitches / 29 rows = 4” {10 cm}
Note: If your row gauge differs by just 1-2 rows, don’t stress! You can easily make adjustments when blocking your finished piece to achieve the perfect fit and appearance.
