Yarn: Choose your favorite fingering weight sock yarn to create these stunning socks. You will need approximately 100g of yarn, depending on your desired foot and leg lengths. For our sample, we used 1 skein of Merino Super Sock by La Bien Aimée. This yarn features a luxurious blend of 75% merino and 25% nylon, providing both comfort and durability, with an impressive yardage of 467 yds / 427 m – 100 g in the lovely colourway Emeline.
Needles: Get ready to knit with the recommended needle sizes! You will need a US 1 / 2.25 mm circular needle(s) or a set of DPNs to achieve the gauge listed. For the cuff, you may also consider using US 0 / 2 mm circular needles or a set of DPNs (optional) for tighter stitching.
Gauge: To ensure your socks fit perfectly, maintain a gauge of 32 stitches by 44 rows to 4” / 10 cm on US 1 / 2.25 mm needles in stockinette stitch, after blocking. Achieving the correct gauge is crucial for a great fit and overall appearance.
