Pay special attention to how wild and mangled the shawlette appears at the end of Section 2. This is intentional and part of the design process! After blocking, the transformation into the stunning finished piece is truly magical—just see the completed blue "Diabolical"!
The full pattern will be released on the morning of July 27th, allowing you plenty of time to get ready to cast on during the highly anticipated Opening Ceremonies of the Ravellenic Games. This is the perfect opportunity to showcase your knitting skills!
"Diabolical" qualifies for an array of exciting events within the Ravellenic Games, including:
- Balance Beads: Adding beads is optional and can be incorporated into the final section at your own discretion.
- Holiday Hurdles: Perfect for gift giving, this pattern offers a lovely present for loved ones.
- Single Skein Sprint: You will require a minimum of 480 yards, so be sure to check your yardage on those single skeins. Tip: one Wolle’s 100-gram skein is ideal for this project.
- Scarf Hockey: As it is truly a neck accessory, it qualifies for this fun event!
