The exquisite three-way collaboration on this elegant knitted stole began when I first encountered Elena’s beautiful hand-dyed yarn, which immediately captured my attention. While my initial idea was to create a stunning shawl, I soon realized that a more streamlined stole design would highlight the scrumptious yarn beautifully, allowing it to shine without overwhelming the overall look. This stole is perfect for wearing over a classic Little Black Dress for elegant evenings at the theater or for dining in upscale restaurants—designed to be understated yet sophisticated.

Inspired by an intricate stitch pattern I discovered in a Polish knitting magazine, I set out to develop a unique cabled design that would bring texture and interest to the stole without sacrificing its elegance. After creating my vision, I shared it with Kam from Everyday Peacocks. Previously, we had discussed the idea of designing a pin specifically tailored for one of my accessories. She loved the concept and was excited to create a one-of-a-kind pin that perfectly replicates the knitted leaf motif from my stole. Isn’t her pin just wonderful? It truly adds a special touch to the overall design!
