Yarn Requirements: This pattern calls for worsted weight yarn, with yardage varying based on size: 139 yds (127 m) for Small, 157.5 yds (144 m) for Medium, and 176 yds (161 m) for Large. We recommend using high-quality yarn for the best results.
Suggested Yarn: For our sample, we chose Malabrigo Worsted in the stunning colorway 117 (Verde Adriana). This yarn is not only a worsted weight but is also crafted from 100% premium merino wool, offering warmth and comfort. Each skein contains 210 yds (192 m) of luxurious fiber, and only 1 skein is required to complete the pattern.
Sample Size: The hat is showcased in Size Medium, providing a great reference for fit and style.
Needles Required: To bring this beautiful hat to life, you will need a U.S. Size 9 (5.5 mm) 16” (40 cm) circular needle, along with one set of U.S. Size 9 (5.5 mm) double pointed needles. Alternatively, use the size needed to achieve optimal gauge for the pattern.
Optional Extra Needles: For added versatility and to create a comfortable ribbing effect, you may also consider having a U.S. Size 7 (4.5 mm) or U.S. Size 8 (5.0 mm) 16” (40 cm) circular needle on hand.
